but because it is so soft & luxurious – making this shirt extremely comfortable! These characteristics and the fact that it is crease resistant makes it ideal for travelling.’

Poly Satin fabric is a luxurious and versatile textile known for its smooth, glossy appearance and elegant drape. It is hypoallergenic and incredibly soft, making it comfortable to wear against the skin. Poly Satin does not wrinkle and does not form creases, and it retains its shape well. Poly Satin is a tightly woven fabric that is resistant to wear and tear, making it a long-lasting choice for various applications.

How to care for my Poly Satin garment? [read more]

Machine wash on a gentle cycle using cold water and a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics. If your Poly Satin fabric has delicate embellishments or is particularly fragile, it’s best to hand wash it. We recommend you strictly follow the washing temperature as indicated on the wash care label inside the product.  We recommend shaking the wrinkles out, reshaping whilst damp and hanging it out to dry away from direct sunlight or tumble dry on low.’

Does Poly Satin shrink & bleed colour? [read more]

Yes, Poly Satin does shrink & bleed if not handled correctly. It tends to shrink and bleed more in warmer water, so always opt for cold water when washing your Poly Satin garments. Cold water helps to keep the dye intact and minimizes bleeding onto other fabrics. If you follow the specific garment’s wash care instruction, you should not have any problems.’

Why are Poly Satin clothes more expensive? [read more]

‘Although synthetic Poly Satin fibres mimic the look and feel of Silk Satin, it is more affordable and more widely available than its natural counterpart. However, the quality of the Poly Satin fabric also influences its pricing. Higher quality Poly Satin fabric is typically made with finer fibers, resulting in a smoother and more durable fabric. These factors increase the production cost, making high-quality Poly Satin fabric more expensive than lower-quality alternatives.’
